Dear Sir/Madam,
ANATEL has published Act No. 5314, dated April 14, 2026, which approves the Technical Requirements and Test Procedures for the Conformity Assessment of Secondary Lithium Accumulators for Stationary Applications. This Act established that its mandatory application would begin on October 12, 2026.
However, with the publication of Act No. 100229/2026, this requirement has been amended, as follows:
Article 1. Amendment of Article 3 of Act No. 5314, dated April 14, 2026, which shall now read as follows:
"Article 3. This Act shall enter into force on the date of its publication in ANATEL's Electronic Service Bulletin, and its application shall become mandatory as of October 12, 2027."
Therefore, the mandatory application date has been postponed to October 12, 2027.
